Activate your landing pages (DNS)

Ribbler hosts your campaign landing pages under your own domain (for example get.your-company.com). To make that work, you add one DNS record at the company where your domain is registered. The Ribbler team sends you the exact record — typically a CNAME that looks like:

Not sure who your registrar is?

Search your inbox for "domain renewal" — the sender is usually your registrar. Or look your domain up at lookup.icann.org.

GoDaddy

  1. Sign in at godaddy.comMy Products.
  2. Next to your domain, choose DNS (or Manage DNS).
  3. Under DNS Records, select Add New Record.
  4. Type: CNAME · Name: the subdomain we sent you (e.g. get) · Value: the target we sent you · TTL: default.
  5. Save.

Namecheap

  1. Sign in at namecheap.comDomain ListManage next to your domain.
  2. Open the Advanced DNS tab.
  3. Add New RecordCNAME Record.
  4. Host: the subdomain we sent you (e.g. get) · Value: the target we sent you · TTL: Automatic.
  5. Save with the green check mark.

Cloudflare

  1. Sign in at dash.cloudflare.com and select your domain.
  2. Go to DNS → RecordsAdd record.
  3. Type: CNAME · Name: the subdomain we sent you (e.g. get) · Target: the value we sent you.
  4. Important: set the cloud icon to DNS only (grey, not orange) so certificates can be issued.
  5. Save.

Squarespace Domains (formerly Google Domains)

  1. Sign in at account.squarespace.comDomains → your domain.
  2. Open DNS SettingsCustom Records.
  3. Add Record → Type: CNAME · Host: the subdomain we sent you · Data: the target we sent you.
  4. Save.

Wix

  1. Sign in at wix.comDomains.
  2. Next to your domain, open the ⋯ menuManage DNS Records.
  3. Under CNAME (Aliases), select + Add Record.
  4. Host name: the subdomain we sent you · Value: the target we sent you.
  5. Save.

Any other registrar

Look for a section called DNS, DNS Management, Name Server Management, or Zone Editor, then add a CNAME record with the name and target from our email.

After you've added the record

Reply to our email and we'll take it from there. DNS changes usually apply within minutes but can take up to 48 hours; we monitor it and confirm as soon as your landing pages are live and secured with HTTPS.
